Valero 20/20 Reimaging
Wyeth Projects Services has been responsible for re-imaging more than 500 Valero sites across the UK. From managing the initial pilot corporate branding exercise in 2009, Wyeth tendered the project, appointed the main signage contractors on behalf of Valero and has project managed the re-imaging programme throughout.
As each site is added to the project, Wyeth Projects Services
carries out a photographic and visual survey of the site, produces drawings and uses agreed rate cards to cost the project. Once costs are agreed, Wyeth Projects Services coordinates the on-site pre-contract meeting and, at project fulfilment, snags the install and agrees final accounts.
Responding to cost challenges that arose partway through the project, Wyeth Projects Services undertook a mid-term value-engineering exercise and, by working closely with the key contractors, successfully reduced the cost of per-site reimaging by 20-30%.
As part of a five-year agreement, dealership signings and renewals are fully reimaged in the agreed corporate style on an on-going basis.
