After a short, but intensive, development period, Wyeth were delighted to successfully handover the Cornish Gateway / Malthurst filling station to the client bang on target, in June 2014.
This was an interesting project for us given that we were, in fact, working for two clients. Cornish Gateway is a major trunk road services that were being developed near to Bodmin on the A30 in Cornwall. Included are a hotel, major amenities building and petrol filling station. The retail petrol site opened in June and the other amenities were following over the next few weeks.
Wyeth designed the infrastructure for the site on behalf of the devloper of Cornish Gateway, providing all the working drawings for the contractor Dawnus. We also co-ordinated petroleum officer approval and advertising consent.
Additionally, we were employed by the retailer, Malthurst, to fit out the sales building and handle the commissioning of the site. The construction of the sales building and commissioning was completed by Fox Construction in just four weeks and was successfully handed over to the Malthurst operations team on Friday 13th June, fully ready for merchandising.
